Academic & Youth Fair · Kerala School Sasthrolsavam

The Work Experience Fair (Pravruthiparichayamela) strand of Kerala’s state school science festival (Sasthrolsavam), run by KITE: 38 On-the-Spot craft item types (Agarbathi Making, Bamboo Products, Beads Work, Embroidery, Electronics, Garment Making, Wood Carving, Metal Engraving, and more) across LP, UP, HS and HSS/VHSS levels, 120 item-group assignments, all sharing one common judging rubric. Last of 5 Sasthrolsavam fairs; each is a separate template.

Sets up the work experience fair of Kerala’s state school festival as a ready programme: on-the-spot crafts from bamboo, clay and fabric to wiring and metalwork, judged on one shared four-line sheet.

The Work Experience Fair is the fifth fair of the Kerala School Sasthrolsavam. It is the hands-on fair: each child makes a product on the spot in a single sitting, one item per participant, and the finished product is displayed for viewing at later stages.

The template lists the fair’s crafts. Lower and Upper Primary share one set of items, such as agarbathi making, origami, umbrella making, clay modelling and stuffed toys; High School and Higher Secondary/VHSE share a larger set that adds garment making, electronics, grafting and budding, metal embossing and innovative working models. Every item is individual.

Unlike the other fairs, Work Experience uses a single score sheet for every item at every level: workload and the child’s own contribution 40, skill and completeness 25, knowledge of raw materials and tools 20, and social utility, speciality and marketability 15. That makes the child’s own hands-on contribution the biggest single factor.

Item names follow the official list, including its spelling of Ratton Work.
