The Naadam festival of Mongolia, covering the three traditional games of wrestling, archery and horse racing.
Wrestling, archery and horse racing as three open-age individual events, with the wrestling title ladder as the rank list. Install it, adapt it to your own local round, and open entries the same day.
Naadam is Mongolia’s national summer festival and is built around three traditional contests known as the three manly games: wrestling (Bökh), archery and horse racing. Contests are held at local and regional gatherings, and the biggest are run on a national scale, where a state organising committee runs the festival and officials present certificates and medals.
Wrestling is a large single-elimination bracket. At the national level it runs as a fixed field of 512 or 1,024 wrestlers over nine or ten rounds, and entrants qualify through lower-tier Naadams. Titles are conferred by how far a wrestler gets: the ladder runs from Nachin (falcon) through Zaan (elephant) and Arslan (lion) up to Avarga (titan) for a repeat Arslan.
Archery is scored by hits, and knocking a target cylinder (a sur) out counts as a hit. Horse racing involves formal horse registration and age checks before the start, and riders must meet statutory age, insurance and safety requirements.
This template turns that structure into three events for an organiser to run: Wrestling (Bökh), Archery and Horse Racing, one Open (Adult) age group of 16 and over, individual entries, both genders. Each event is rated out of 10, and the rank list uses the wrestling title ladder in place of a generic first, second and third.

Key facts
- 3 competitions: Wrestling (Bökh), Archery and Horse Racing.
- One age group: Open (Adult), 16 and over.
- All three are individual entries, open to both genders, rated out of 10.
- 3 item-by-group assignments, no entry fee set in the template.
- Rank list follows the wrestling title ladder: Nachin, Zaan, Arslan, Avarga.
- Real national wrestling is a 512 or 1,024 slot knockout, not a graded score, so the rank list carries the title progression.
