Academic & Youth Fair · Kerala School Sasthrolsavam

The Social Science Fair (Samoohyashastramela) strand of Kerala’s state school science festival (Sasthrolsavam), run by KITE: 12 item types (Collections, Charts, Album Making, Working/Still Models, Atlas Making, Elocution, Local History Writing, News Reading, History Seminar, Social Science Quiz) across LP, UP, HS and HSS/VHSS levels, 26 item-group assignments. Third of 5 Sasthrolsavam fairs; each is a separate template.

Sets up the social science fair of Kerala’s state school festival as a ready programme: albums, atlases, local history writing, news reading, seminars, models, elocution and a quiz with the official indicators loaded.

The Social Science Fair is the third fair of the Kerala School Sasthrolsavam. It brings history, geography, civics and economics to life through albums, atlases, models, writing and speaking, rather than examinations alone.

The template covers Album Making, Charts and Collections for Lower Primary; Still Model and Working Model at Upper Primary and above; Atlas Making, Local History Writing, History Seminar, News Reading and a Talent Search Examination for the older levels; and Elocution and a Social Science Quiz across levels. Models and the Lower Primary items are team items; the rest are individual.

The official indicators vary widely: Atlas Making stresses accuracy and idea connection (40), News Reading gives 40 of 100 to editing, Local History Writing mixes writing with fieldwork, and the models weigh technical knowledge and functionality (30). History Seminar’s printed marks total 90, so it carries no table here, and the quiz and the examination have none either.

Can I change this template after installing it?

Yes — installing it creates a fully configured, live event, not a locked package. Every age group, competition item, rule and scoring setting can be edited afterwards to match exactly what your event actually needs.
