Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil: traditional Irish music across fiddle, flute, whistle, pipes, banjo, ensembles and sean-nos singing.
A ready-made Fleadh Cheoil (Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann) structure you can install as-is or adjust once it’s live — the age groups, items and rules below are a starting point, not a fixed package.
Age groups
Every candidate is placed into one of these groups by age, and competitions are run per group.
- A – Under 12 — ages 6 to 11
- B – 12 to 15 — ages 12 to 15
- C – 15 to 18 — ages 15 to 18
- D – Over 18 — ages 18 to 99
