eTalenter is priced per event, so every event needs a bill, and until now that was a conversation by email. The new Billing page puts it in one place. The person who created the event sees their events there, asks for a bill with a short form, downloads the invoice when it arrives, and tells us once they have paid by bank transfer. It looks the same on a phone and on a laptop, so you can settle the bill from wherever you are.

Already covered elsewhere on this site
This page is about requesting and paying the bill. Related ground has its own pages:
- What an event costs — the price follows the public Pricing page, which is per event and depends on participants, days and region.
- Setting up your first event end to end — see how to run a kalolsavam on eTalenter.
- Inviting people into roles — see inviting judges, executives and your team.
Who sees the Billing page
Billing is for the event owner: the person who created the event. It sits in the menu as Billing, next to My Roles. Open it and you see a list of your events. Each event shows where its bill stands, and the button you need next.
Step 1: request billing
An event with no bill yet shows a Request billing button. Tap it and a short form opens with four details:
- Host country — where the event is held.
- Type of organization — School, College, Organization, Church / Religious or Other.
- Event level — the choices depend on the organization type, and they are the same levels as on the Pricing page. A school sees School, Sub-District, District, Zone and State. A church sees Unit, District, Zone and State.
- Support mode — Normal or Enterprise.
Send it and the request goes to the eTalenter team by email. The event now shows Waiting for bill.
Step 2: we add the bill
You do not type the price yourself. Only the eTalenter team adds the bill, after looking at your event. We check its size, meaning the number of candidates, judges, entries and results, so we know it is a real event and bill it fairly. The suggested price follows the public Pricing page: per event, by participants, days and region.
When the bill is added you get an email with the invoice number, the amount, the due date and the bank-transfer details. The same bill appears on your Billing page, and the event now reads Waiting for payment.
Step 3: download the invoice and pay

On the bill you will see a Download invoice button, which gives you a PDF to keep or to pass to whoever approves payments in your organisation. Pay by bank transfer, using the details in the email and on the invoice.
Once the transfer is made, tap I am paid. You can type your bank transfer reference if you have one (it is optional, but it helps us find the payment quickly). The status changes to Paid, being checked. When the team confirms the money has arrived, it changes to Payment received and you get a receipt by email.
The five statuses
- Waiting for bill — you have asked, and the team has not added the bill yet.
- Waiting for payment — the bill is ready; download the invoice and pay by bank transfer.
- Paid, being checked — you tapped I am paid; the team is confirming the money arrived.
- Payment received — confirmed, and your receipt has been emailed.
- Cancelled — the request was cancelled. A cancelled request can be requested again.
Reminders if a bill stays unpaid
If a bill is still unpaid, you get a reminder email. There are up to three reminders, three days apart. If you have already paid and simply forgot to tap the button, open the Billing page and tap I am paid; the reminders are for bills that have not been settled.
On a phone and on a laptop
The page does the same things on every screen. On a phone, each event is shown as a card with its status and its next button, so nothing needs sideways scrolling. On a laptop, the events are laid out across the wider screen. Either way, the request form, the invoice download and the I am paid button are the same. Many organisers will request the bill from the venue on a phone and forward the invoice from a laptop later, and both work.
What Billing does not do
- Take card or online payments. Payment is by bank transfer only.
- Let you set or edit the amount. Only the eTalenter team adds the bill.
- Charge anything monthly. Pricing is per event, so each event has its own bill.
- Mark a bill as paid on its own. I am paid tells us you have paid; the status only becomes Payment received when the team confirms it.
Questions organisers ask
Can I see the price before I send the request?
The Pricing page shows how event prices work. The actual bill is added by the team after they look at your event, and you receive it by email.
Which event level do I pick?
Pick the level your event is actually held at. The list changes with the organization type: schools can choose School, Sub-District, District, Zone or State, and churches can choose Unit, District, Zone or State.
I requested billing by mistake. What now?
A request can end up as Cancelled, and a cancelled request can be requested again from the same event, so nothing is stuck.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. When the team confirms your payment, the status becomes Payment received and a receipt is emailed to you.
