A multi-country Games cultural programme for artists aged 18 to 35: singing, tales and storytelling, digital creation, creative dance, freestyle ball juggling, short-story literature, painting, sculpture and installation, photography and acting, entered as individual or group artists, with gold, silver and bronze medals.

A ready-made structure for a multi-discipline arts games: ten disciplines for artists aged 18 to 35, from singing and storytelling to digital creation, sculpture and acting, with individual and group entries and gold, silver and bronze placings.

This template sets up the cultural competitions of a multi-country Games for young artists, built from the general rules of one edition. There are ten disciplines, all open to men and women: Singing, Tales and Storytelling, Digital Creation, Creative Dance, Freestyle Ball Juggling, Literature (Short Story), Painting, Sculpture and Installation, Photography and Acting. Every competitor must be over 18 and under 35 during the Games, so the template carries one age band, 18 to 35, rather than school classes or youth grades. For singing, creative dance, storytelling and acting, the age limit applies to the singers, dancers, actors and storytellers only, not to accompanying musicians or other support persons.

Entry size differs by discipline, and the template reflects that with two groups that share the same age band. Individual Artists 18-35 covers Singing, Tales and Storytelling, Digital Creation, Literature (Short Story), Painting, Sculpture and Installation and Photography, each entered by one person. Team Artists 18-35 covers Singing, Digital Creation, Creative Dance, Freestyle Ball Juggling and Acting. The printed entry sizes are a single singer or a group of up to five on stage, one digital creator or a group of up to four, a dance group of two to ten, a juggling group of up to five and an acting group of up to seven. Singing and Digital Creation therefore appear in both groups, giving twelve entries across the ten disciplines.

Placings follow the printed medal system: gold, silver and bronze in each competition, with a jury of five (one president and four members) ranking three winners and two mentions. The rules print no points for placings, so the template installs First, Second and Third with zero points and no grades. Each entry is scored out of 100, but the general rules print no judging criteria, marks, time limits or fees, because each discipline has its own specific rules in separate documents. A coordinator who has those documents can add criteria and time limits for each discipline before opening registration.

Several rules have no field on the platform and stay as registration rules: entry only through member states or governments, three pre-selected competitors per discipline per state, an international pre-selection of up to thirty artists per discipline, cancellation of a competition with fewer than eight entries, nationality rules, key dates, the contents of the registration file, the one-hour complaints rule, ownership and copyright, and disqualification. The competitors pay no fees. Rules change between editions, so check the current rules before reusing the items.

Where this event comes from

Built from the general rules of the cultural competitions of one edition of a multi-country Games for young artists; the document is the only edition supplied. Each discipline’s own specific rules (time limits, judging criteria, themes and technical limits) are separate documents that were not supplied, so none are installed.

Where this event is run

A multi-discipline arts games with one age band and a mix of solo and group entries is the format used when several countries or regions send their best young artists to compete in a single programme, usually after national selection rounds. This template follows that structure and suits any games, festival or institution that wants performing, written and visual arts judged side by side for artists aged 18 to 35, with medals rather than point-based grades.
