Talent Test · Community Talent Show

Cloverdale Citrus Fair talent show 2025: singing, dancing, instrumental, acrobatics, comedy and other acts of up to 4 minutes, as solo or group entries in Tiny (4-8), Junior (9-12), Teen (13-17) and Adult divisions, built from the fair’s own rules and application.

A ready-made community talent show for a fair, festival or town event: six open-ended entry types (singing, dancing, instrumental, acrobatics, comedy and any other act), each limited to four minutes and open to soloists and groups in four age divisions from four years old up to adults.

This template models a one-day community talent show for a county or town fair, built from the organiser’s own printed rules and application. Anyone from four years old upwards can enter, either alone or as a group, and every entry is placed in one of four age divisions: Tiny (4 to 8), Junior (9 to 12), Teen (13 to 17) and Adult (18 and over). A group whose members fall in more than one division enters the older division, and an adult who only accompanies a child act does not change that act’s division.

There are six entry types, each set up as its own competition: Singing, Dancing, Instrumental, Acrobatics, Comedy Routine and Other Talent Act. Every type is open to every division, as a solo entry or a group entry, so the template carries eight age groups (Tiny, Junior, Teen and Adult, each as a Solo group and a Group team) and forty-eight classes in all. Entries are open to both genders and any language, and every class has a four-minute limit.

The source rules judge the entry types separately but let the highest scores decide the overall winners: the best act in each age division, and a grand prize for one overall individual and one overall group. They print no marks, judging criteria, grades or points for places, so none are installed. Each class carries the platform’s default maximum score of 100 and a coordinator can add the panel’s own criteria, such as stage presence, skill and audience appeal, before the day.

Several details in the rules are about running the day rather than scoring it, and the template leaves them to your registration content: the cash award and trophy per division, ribbons for the first three places, rehearsal and check-in times, free admission for contestants, the application deadline, and the instrumental rule that only acoustic instruments are allowed. Warning bells are not printed, so none are installed, and fees are set to zero.

Where this event is run

Open talent shows with a handful of broad entry types, mixed solo and group acts and age divisions that run from small children to adults are a familiar format at agricultural fairs, town festivals, school fundraisers and community days in the United States and in many other countries. This template comes from a single United States event, so its division ages, entry types and four-minute limit describe that programme. Organisers elsewhere usually adjust the age bands, set their own time limit and agree a scoring rubric with the panel before the show.

Key facts

  • Six entry types: Singing, Dancing, Instrumental, Acrobatics, Comedy Routine and Other Talent Act
  • Four age divisions (Tiny 4-8, Junior 9-12, Teen 13-17, Adult 18+), each with a Solo group and a Group team, giving eight age groups and forty-eight classes
  • Every class is open to both genders in any language, with a four-minute limit
  • A group with members in more than one division enters the older division; accompanying adults do not change it
  • Winners are decided on the highest scores across entry types: best act per division plus one overall individual and one overall group
  • No marks, criteria, grades or ranks are printed, so each class carries a default score of 100 and fees are installed as zero; prizes, check-in times and the acoustic-only instrument rule are left to your registration rules

Frequently asked questions

Can I change this template after installing it?

Yes — installing it creates a fully configured, live event, not a locked package. Every age group, competition item, rule and scoring setting can be edited afterwards to match exactly what your event actually needs.

Do I need technical knowledge to set this up?

No. Installing a template does the setup work for you; you only need to review the details (dates, unit or house names) and open registration.
