Youth Festival · Sunday School & Church

A national youth fest for young adults from parish youth groups and colleges, run in India with entries accepted in five languages: Solo and Group Dance, Solo and Group Song, Photography, Pencil Sketching, Essay Writing, Elocution and a three-person team Quiz, built from a 2024 guidelines document.

A ready-made youth fest in nine items: Solo and Group Dance, Solo and Group Song, Photography, Pencil Sketching, Essay Writing, Elocution and a team Quiz, with one open individual group and one open team group, so any youth body can add its own age limits and score sheets.

This template models a national youth fest for young adults, built from the 2024 edition of a youth-fest guidelines document. It is a mixed arts programme: two dance items, two song items, three individual creative items (Photography, Pencil Sketching and Essay Writing), a spoken Elocution item and a team Quiz. The printed rules open the fest to members of a parish youth organisation or of an educational institution, and entries may be made in English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam or Tamil, so every item is set up once for any language instead of once per language.

Six items are individual: Solo Dance, Solo Song, Photography, Pencil Sketching, Essay Writing and Elocution. Three are team items: Group Dance, Group Song and Quiz. The performing items run to a 4-minute ceiling in the template (the rules print a range of two to four minutes), Group Dance teams have six to ten members, Group Song teams six to twelve including instrumentalists, and a Quiz team has three members. The creative items, Photography, Pencil Sketching and Essay Writing, carry no time limit in the structure.

The document prints no age groups, so the template installs one open individual group and one open team group. The ages 3 to 99 are a placeholder range, not a printed limit, and an organiser that applies an age limit sets its own after installing. No judging weights are printed either: each item names what the panel looks at, for example song choice, adherence to the theme, choreography, synchronisation and overall performance for Solo Dance, and the Quiz is scored on objective questions with no negative marking. Every item is therefore installed out of 100 with no criteria set, ready for the organiser’s own score sheet.

Prizes in the source are cash amounts and trophies, not points, so no ranks or grades with points are installed. Other rules have no matching field and are kept out of the structure: an online preliminary round followed by a campus final, entry by online form, video and file-format limits, per-item themes, a plagiarism rule, fees and the event dates. Fees are left at zero for the organiser to set. Treat this as a starting structure and check the current year’s guidelines before reusing any limit.

Where this event is run

Mixed youth fests that combine stage items with submitted work, such as a photograph, a sketch or an essay, and a quiz are a common format for college and youth-body programmes across India and in many other countries. This template follows one national youth fest and suits any college union, youth wing, cultural club or district youth council that wants one event covering dance, music, creative work, speaking and quizzing for young adults, whether the early rounds run online or on campus.
