Womens escaramuza charra in Mexico: synchronised team riding across the Infantil, Juvenil, Libre and Mayor categories.
Sets up an escaramuza charra competition: a single team item for women’s synchronised riding, with the Infantil, Juvenil, Libre and Mayor categories already in place and a mark out of 100 for the panel.
This template builds an escaramuza charra competition for Mexico, so a coordinator opens an event that already carries the four categories and a team item instead of a blank catalogue. Escaramuza is the women’s side of charreria: a squad of riders in traditional dress performs a rehearsed routine of fast, precisely timed manoeuvres on horseback, and a panel scores how cleanly and how together they ride it.
It is deliberately a separate template from the charro championship. Escaramuza is judged under its own written rules and its own scoresheet, which is why it is not simply another item in the charro event. Teams may ride at the same charreada as the charro competition, but the results are kept apart, and this template keeps them apart too.
The template carries one competition item under On Stage, Escaramuza (Synchronized Team Riding), assigned to all four categories: Infantil (set up for ages 6 to 12), Juvenil (13 to 17), Libre (18 and over) and Mayor (40 and over). Every entry is a team, for female riders, in Spanish. Libre is set to allow overlap so a squad of older riders can also appear in Mayor, and you should adjust the age bounds to match the rulebook your federation or club follows, since the exact boundaries were not confirmed from the rules text.
Scoring is a single mark out of 100 per team in the template. The rules score a routine through its manoeuvres and execution, but the per-manoeuvre point values were not verified, so the template does not pretend to encode them: treat the 100 as a working default and take the real breakdown from the current official scoresheet before the event. The ranks install the common titles Campeona and Subcampeona with bonus points of 10 and 6, which are a convention rather than rules-defined terms. Collect team entries through the Registration Page, brief the judges on the scoresheet, and use the tabulation to publish category results.
Where this event comes from
Escaramuza charra grew out of Mexican charreria as the women’s team discipline, and it now has its own rules and championship structure alongside the charro events.
Where this event is run
Mexico, where escaramuza teams ride at charreadas and at state and national championships, and in Mexican communities abroad that hold their own charro events. The template suits an organiser running a women’s escaramuza competition of any size, but it is not suited to the men’s charro suertes, which have their own template, or to general arts festivals.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change this template after installing it?
Yes — installing it creates a fully configured, live event, not a locked package. Every age group, competition item, rule and scoring setting can be edited afterwards to match exactly what your event actually needs.
Do I need technical knowledge to set this up?
No. Installing a template does the setup work for you; you only need to review the details (dates, unit or house names) and open registration.
