PianoFriends Association’s international piano competition for young pianists aged 5 to 17 in Milan: four age categories (A 5-7, B 8-10, C 11-13, D 14-17), an online video round, a live second round and a final, with a free programme of 8, 12, 16 or 20 minutes by category.

Age groups
Every candidate is placed into one of these groups by age, and competitions are run per group.
A Category (5-7)
Candidates aged 5 to 7 compete in this group
B Category (8-10)
Candidates aged 8 to 10 compete in this group
C Category (11-13)
Candidates aged 11 to 13 compete in this group
D Category (14-17)
Candidates aged 14 to 17 compete in this group
