Talent Test · Community Talent Show
Wisconsin State Fair Junior Amateur Talent Competition (2020 edition): Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Variety acts, as solos or groups of up to 5, in Youth (5-12) and Teen (13-18) divisions with a 3-minute limit and a 40 point scale, built from the fair’s own rules.
A ready-made junior talent competition with four classes (Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Variety), each entered as a solo or as a group of up to five, in a Youth division (ages 5 to 12) and a Teen division (ages 13 to 18), every act held to three minutes and scored on a 40 point scale.
This template models a junior amateur talent competition run by a United States state fair in Wisconsin, where young performers compete on the fairground stage. It is built from the fair’s 2020 rules, the only edition found, so the divisions, the four classes and the three-minute limit are real, but dates, prizes and deadlines change every year and the current rules must be checked before the template is reused.
Acts are sorted into four classes: Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Variety, where Variety covers anything that does not fit the other three. Each class can be entered by one performer or by a group of up to five, so every division is split into a Solo group for individual entries and a Group group for team entries, giving four groups in all.
Two divisions are printed: Youth for ages 5 to 12 and Teen for ages 13 to 18, with age counted on 1 August of the year of the final. Each act has three minutes or less, with one minute of set-up not counted. The rules say performers are judged on a 40 point scale in five areas but do not print the marks for each area, so the template scores every competition out of 40 on a single mark and ships no criteria sheet.
Several printed rules have no software field: the point deductions for running over time, the one-entry-per-class limit, the residency and qualifying-show conditions, the placement of mixed-age groups and the accompanist limit. Publish them as written rules on the registration page if you want them followed; the software does not enforce them.
Where this event is run
Junior talent competitions are a regular feature of state and county fairs across the United States, usually with age divisions, a handful of broad act classes and a strict time limit per act. Schools, libraries and town festivals run smaller versions of the same format.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change this template after installing it?
Yes — installing it creates a fully configured, live event, not a locked package. Every age group, competition item, rule and scoring setting can be edited afterwards to match exactly what your event actually needs.
Do I need technical knowledge to set this up?
No. Installing a template does the setup work for you; you only need to review the details (dates, unit or house names) and open registration.
