Talent Test · Community Talent Show
Stearns County Fair Amateur Talent Contest 2025 (Minnesota): solo and group talent acts of up to 4 minutes in Pre-Teen (12 and under), Teen (13-18) and Open divisions, judged by three judges, built from the fair’s own rules and registration form.
A ready-made county fair talent contest with a single open Talent Act competition, entered as a solo or a group in a Pre-Teen division (12 and under), a Teen division (13 to 18) and an Open division for any age, each act held to four minutes.
This template models an amateur talent contest run as part of a United States county fair in Minnesota, where local performers take the fair stage in front of a small judging panel and the crowd. It is built from the contest’s own 2025 rules and registration form, so the divisions, the four-minute limit and the three-judge panel are real, but the rules should be checked again before the template is reused for a later year.
The form accepts a talent act of any kind and names musical groups and vocalists among them, but it lists no separate classes. That is why the template carries a single competition, Talent Act, rather than a list of singing, dance and instrument classes. The form does not ask whether an act is a solo or a group, so each division is split into a Solo group (individual entries) and a Group group (team entries) as a modelling choice, giving six groups in all.
Three divisions are printed: Pre-Teen for 12 and under, Teen for ages 13 to 18, and Open for any age. No lowest age is printed, so the Pre-Teen and Open bands start at 5 as a placeholder that a coordinator should confirm. The Open division is a common group that Pre-Teen and Teen contestants can also enter.
Acts are judged by three judges on quality of performance, stage presence, entertainment value and selection, but the form prints no marks for each of those, so the template scores acts out of 100 on a single mark and ships no criteria sheet. Residency and past-winner rules, the over-time deduction, the no-lip-sync rule, the minimum number of contestants per division, cash prizes and onward qualification have no software field; publish them as written rules on the registration page if you want them followed.
Where this event is run
Amateur talent contests are a regular feature of county and state fairs across the United States, where a fairground stage hosts a run of short acts judged by a small panel, usually with age divisions and a strict time limit. Schools, libraries and town festivals run similar shows on a smaller scale.

Yes — installing it creates a fully configured, live event, not a locked package. Every age group, competition item, rule and scoring setting can be edited afterwards to match exactly what your event actually needs.
Do I need technical knowledge to set this up?
No. Installing a template does the setup work for you; you only need to review the details (dates, unit or house names) and open registration.
