Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam’s centre-level youth arts festival: 18 items across music, Bible reading and quiz, elocution, writing, art, Margamkali, choreography, mime and tableau, in two birth-year groups (born 2009 or later, and 1992-2008).
A ready-made centre-level youth kalamela with eighteen items, from light music and instrumental classes to Bible reading, quiz, essay and poem writing, clay modelling, painting, Margamkali, choreography, mime and tableau, entered in two age groups with every printed time limit.
This template models a centre-level youth arts festival of a church youth movement, held over two days in January 2027. It is built from the event’s own printed notification, so the item names, groups and time limits are real. Entrants arrive from regional diocese rounds, which are completed beforehand, and membership of the movement for the year is a condition of entry. Those two rules are not modelled by the platform and are best published as written rules.
Eighteen items are printed. Music covers Light Music Solo (male and female, in Malayalam and English), Group Song and four kinds of Instrumental Music: wind, string, keyboard and percussion such as tabla, drum, triple drum, cajon and darbuka. Spoken and written work covers Elocution, Bible Reading, Recitation, Essay Writing, Story Writing and Poem Writing, with the writing and recitation items offered in Malayalam and English, plus a Quiz drawn from named Bible books. Art covers Clay Modeling, Pencil Drawing, Painting and Cartoon (Pencil). Stage covers Margamkali for women, Choreography, Mime and Tableau.
Entrants are placed in two groups by date of birth: Group I for those born on or after 1 January 2009 and Group II for those born between 1992 and 2008. The platform needs age ranges, so the template uses age attained in the event year, Group I at 10 to 18 and Group II at 19 to 35, with individual and team items kept in separate groups. A few entrants near a boundary can fall on the other side of the age line, so coordinators should still check each date of birth against the printed groups. The notification prints no minimum age, so 10 is a placeholder.
Time limits are printed for most items: five minutes for every instrumental kind and for Elocution, seven for Recitation, eight for Mime, ten for Margamkali and Choreography, one minute for Tableau, thirty minutes for the writing items, Clay Modeling, Quiz, Pencil Drawing and Cartoon (Pencil), and forty-five for Painting. No time is printed for Light Music, Group Song or Bible Reading. Group Song, Tableau, Choreography and Mime, and Margamkali, are set up as team items; the Quiz is set up as an individual item. These are readings of the notification rather than printed statements, so adjust them if the festival’s own manual says otherwise.
