Web Page Designing Competition: What It Is, Where It’s Run and How It’s Judged

By

An individual IT Fair item at High School and Higher Secondary/VHSE in which a student designs a web page or site, scored out of 100.

Web Page Designing asks a student to build a web page or small site on a given subject using HTML and related tools.

In the Kerala School Sasthrolsavam IT Fair (ICT Mela) it is an individual item at High School (classes 8-10) and Higher Secondary/VHSE (classes 11-12), open to girls and boys, in the Multimedia category.

Technical excellence carries 40 marks: accuracy of tags, navigation, links, use of multimedia and number of pages. Content, attractiveness and usability take 20 each.

Clean code and simple navigation win.
