Colleges as the competing units
In a college fest, the participating units are the colleges, and points won by each college’s students and teams roll up to decide the overall championship trophy. Set your Event Levels with the colleges as units (add a zone or university tier above them for a larger circuit). Group participants as your fest requires — a single open category, or splits like on-stage / off-stage.

Team events (group dance, band, group drama) are entered as a named team of students built during registration; a college can field more than one team where allowed.

Colleges register their contingents online — via a coordinator per college, bulk upload, or Excel import — and each participant gets a chest number and ID card. Judges score online against your criteria; eTalenter tabulates points live and keeps the trophy standings updating as events finish, so the leaderboard is always current for the audience and the host committee.
